Held on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th February 2026 at Silver Bowl Park in Las Vegas, the Vegas Rugby League 9s has become a standout event in the rugby calendar. As part of the wider Rugby League in Las Vegas Event Week, the tournament attracts teams from across North America and beyond, creating a truly international competition environment.
Known for its fast-paced and high-scoring format, Rugby League 9s delivers a thrilling spectacle. With fewer players on the field, the game opens up creating more space, more speed, and more opportunities to score. Every moment counts, and matches can turn on the smallest of margins, making it one of the most exciting formats of the sport.
A Standout Performance
Toby travelled with Skirlaugh in the Men’s Community Division (an incredible achievement in itself) especially considering that only two UK teams were invited to participate in the tournament.
The team delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 4th out of 16 teams in a highly competitive field. Competing against international opposition, Skirlaugh showcased resilience, skill, and teamwork throughout the tournament.
Individually, Toby made a strong impact. He finished within the top 15 try scorers overall, crossing the line 3 times across 5 games an impressive return at such a high level of competition.
